Inseam measurements:
We do NOT believe that one size fits all, which is why we use a grading method for our inseam measurements. This allows the shorts to look and feel the same on all sizes.

These shorts have so many great features! The material feels similar to lululemon align but sweat wicking, which is perfect for running. They are also very flattering and have pockets for gels/phone. Unfortunately though, they ride up terribly while running. It maybe a sizing issue-maybe if I bought a size down in the XS…(I’m normally a small) they would not ride up. I could wear them on a short easy runs, to the gym, or on rest days, but won’t work for me on long run days sadly.
I’m pretty disappointed in these shorts for the price. I’m 5’8” and 150lbs. I Have thicker muscular thighs these shorts rode up so quick. A slightly longer inseam could have helped. They came out to be about 2.5 inches. I put my phone in one side pocket and the shorts were weighted down on that side. I did like the absence of the crotch seam and the opaqueness of the material. I would not recommend these to friends.
So, I'll start off by saying that I'm a HUGE fan of the Faster Than Light series, I literally have like 6 pairs of them and the compression is perfect for keeping the shorts down and they don't ride up. The Icon shorts, while they're very cute and comfortable, do ride up. The material has a LOT more stretch and I'm already at a size XS, so I can't side down further. 5'1, 106lbs for reference. In one of the Icon bras, I almost need an XXS as it's hardly compressed for a run due to the same material stretch issue, but either way I don't mind it b/c I have small boobs. So - overall, the idea is there for this collection, but it doesn't feel like they were tested enough with people of different sizes. Faster Than Light series just WORKED and I'm hoping to see more colorways in those one day (with no material change)! I would compare the compression on these shorts to the liner on the Divergent 2 in 1 shorts. Those also unfortunately rode up on me. The Faster Than Light shorts are where it's at! Truely the best running shorts out there!! Please don't change what works - they're great and everyone loves them as-is, but more colors would be super great! :)
