Inseam measurements:
We do NOT believe that one size fits all, which is why we use a grading method for our inseam measurements. This allows the shorts to look and feel the same on all sizes.

I was hesitant to order these, as I saw a good amount of reviews saying they rode up. I'm glad I took the leap! I can't compare them to the Faster than Light shorts, as I haven't purchased those yet. But they've been great for me so far. I've now worn them on several training runs and on race day, and I love them! They're long enough to prevent chafing but short enough to be cute. Just another reason I love expntl!
I was so excited for these shorts that I ordered them in 2 colors. I have 3 pairs of the Faster than Light shorts and expected them to be comparable but they are not. I wore these on a 3 mile run and they rode up the entire time. The fabric is thin and they do not stay in place. They are now just my lifting shorts but even then, they still ride up. Please bring back Faster than Light shorts!

I am loving these shorts. I feel like they are very flattering and the phone pocket is awesome. For me they did not ride up much with my phone in the pocket.
